Spenser: Small Vices (1999)

The hardboiled detective flick Spenser: Small Vices (1999) stars Joe Mantegna as the eponymous private dick, who is hired to investigate the murder of a college co-ed. But soon he finds himself the target of a mysterious hitman (Eugene Lipinski), and the parents of the dead girl’s boyfriend and the cop investigating the crime all want him off the case.
