Solstice (2008)

The Blair Witch Project (1999) writer-director Daniel Myrick is back to scare the bejeezus out of you with Solstice (2008), a supernatural scarefest about spells gone super-duper wrong. It hasn't even been a year since Elisabeth Harnois lost her twin sis to suicide, so she can't be blamed for being a little insane over the whole thing—but maybe getting her friends to help her resurrect sis's spirit isn't such a good idea, eh? This all goes down on the Louisiana bayou, where Liz and her friends have gone for one last pre-college road trip. There, local Tyler Hoechlin teaches them the Creole summer solstice spell they use to pester the recently dead. Things don't go well for the bunch from there . . . and neither Liz nor Amanda Seyfried nor Hilarie Burton goes bare.
