Part of the wave of softcore erotica that heralded the advent of “pink movies” in Japan, Slave Widow (1967) tells the story of a young widow (Noriko Tatsumi) who has to become the mistress of her dead husband’s creditor, a ruthless businessman nicknamed The Devil. But the businessman’s son, put in charge of the widow’s debts and engaged to another woman, soon finds himself falling for his father’s captive mistress. Tatsumi and Naomi Tani both show skin.
