AMERICAN SWING (2008)

THE SKINNY: From 1977 to 1985, New York City boasted a thriving sexual entertainment underworld, the nookie-drenched nucleus of which was an on-premises fornication club called Plato’s Retreat. The no-holes-barred documentary American Swing chronicles the revolutionary rise and disheartening downfall of this greet-and-meat mecca during the heyday of porn chic and Manhattan’s hyper-decadent, anything-goes disco era, along with the triumphs and travesties of its owner, Larry Levensen. Nudity abounds in American Swing, and among the most niftily noteworthy is that of pioneering adult-film sensation Sharon Mitchell. Be careful: too much exposure to American Swing might put your thing in a sling!
THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL (1978)

THE SKINNY: Hollywood is not the land of fruits and nuts it’s often painted as. No, serious issues of the day are discussed in its films, sometimes long before they become part of the public debate. Such is the case with The Boys from Brazil, which asks the filmic question: What if Hitler were cloned? Here he’s cloned dozens of times, and the moral dilemma is do you murder an innocent boy just because he’s got history’s most infamous villain’s blood coursing through him? We’ll let the intelligentsia of Tinseltown chew on that one. Here at Skin Central we’re much more interested in figuring out why with Linda Hayden in the cast the producers only let her titties out after she was murdered.
DANTE 01 (2008)

THE SKINNY: French filmmaker Marc Caro, one of the dark minds behind the cult classics Delicatessen and City of Lost Children, sets his visionary eye on space in the sci-fi saga Dante 01. Three doctors, led by Persephone (Simona Maicanescu), oversee prisoners onboard a spacecraft who will be used in all manner of hideous corporate experiments. The chief administrator of these evil practices is Elisa (Linh Dan Pham), whose attitude regarding her human subjects is as cold as her nude bodywhich we see when she awakes from hyper-sleepis hot. Dante 01 will prompt you to blast off!
KICKING THE DOG (2009)

THE SKINNY: Kicking the Dog centers on a dozen friends during their summer after college graduation, as they gather for one last blowout before facing the future. Booze flows, lips flap, and lives are changed forever as one funny, outrageous episode after another plays out before our eyes, as well as in the hearts of these conflicted characters. One of the wild revelations involves brunette bombshell Lorianne Dye busting out her milk balloons while engaging in carnal play with another woman and a male dwarf. Your own little person will grow to epic proportions after that, as Kicking the Dog leads to choking the chicken.
STRANGE WILDERNESSBLU-RAY (2008)

THE SKINNY: Strange Wilderness is the title of a nature TV series at the center of this outrageous comedy that stars funnymen Steve Zahn, Jonah Hill, Kevin Heffernan, and Jeff Garlin. Zahn plays the host of the failing programwhich he spices up with topless womenwho brings this motley crew to South America in search of Bigfoot. Ernest Borgnine is in it toobut, amazingly, he doesn’t play Bigfoot!
