Famed Mexican film, television, and stage actress Helena Rojo found herself an unusually juicy role to bite into with the simmering omnibus drama Siempre hay una primera vez (1971). To paraphrase the film’s title, there’s always a first time to get raunchy, and Rojo finds it here. The film––loosely structured as a dialogue between two women bent on comparing their countless male conquests––boasts a plethora of nudity from its alluring star. Devotees of the red-hot Rojo will have seen her skin before, but José Estrada and Guillermo Murray’s film marks the first time she took it all off.
