Shopping (1994)

Set in a decaying, post-industrial British city of the near future, Shopping (1994) is an action thriller starring Jude Law as Billy, a nihilistic ex-con dating Jo (Sadie Frost), an adrenaline junky babe with an eye for trouble. Together, the self-destructive couple are the ringleaders of a gang of car thieves who drive their lifted vehicles into a store front and steal whatever they can. When the smash and grab group amp up their crimes, they draw the ire of Tommy (Sean Pertwee), a local drug lord that doesn’t appreciate the criminal competition. As Billy continues to intrude on Tommy’s territory, the devious dealer puts the moves on Jo, and he tries to put an end to Billy’s crime spree, leading to an explosive ending at the local shopping mall.
