Mermaid Chronicles 1: She Creature (2001) starts off with some luckless carnies. Nobody is buying their sideshow of fake freaks--that is until they stumble onto a real live mermaid. Rya Kihlstedt plays the sea creature. She's half fish and half topless siren but all sexy hotness. She's also imprisoned, and for good reason, but the dim carnies pay that no attention until Rya turns into a sharp-toothed killer and murders every man she sees. But her scales are wet for the women. As lesbian mermaid movies go, this one hooks you and then sends you reeling.
