Why stick to one trashy genre when you can squeeze in two? That’s the thinking behind Shadow: Dead Riot (2005), a flashy cult item that mashes a women-in-prison film together with a zombie horror flick. Tony Todd stars as the titular Shadow--a savage psychopath who isn’t even stopped by a lack of a pulse. The slain killer rises from the dead to carry out his revenge on Solitaire (Carla Greene), a female inmate who’s already got her hands full with the prisoners she encounters in the pen. It’s a toss up, but the heroine might want to take her chances with her fellow jailbirds. For one, they’re mortal. For another, they’d smoking hot--Toy, Misty Mundae, Danielle Riley, Aggie Valdez, and Andrea Langi are just a few of the women who make shower time at the correctional facility an opportunity for first-rate peeping.
