Well, skin fans, all those predictions of a Playboypocalypse turned out to be right. Today NBC announced that The Playboy Club will have the dubious honor of being Fall 2011's first official TV cancellation. The network will pull the low-rated, controversial drama after just three episodes, making tonight the last time you'll be able to ogle Amber Heard in that skintight satin getup (though of course you'll still have plenty of opportunities to see Amber much nuder here at Mr. Skin!).
On the other hand, it's a great day for Whitney Cummings as she celebrates her sitcom Whitney being picked up for a full season by NBC. Whitney's other sitcom project, the Kat Dennings vehicle 2 Broke Girls, is also doing well, holding strong at 11.37 million viewers after the biggest fall comedy premiere in a decade. Another boob tube winner? Christina Applegate, whose sitcom Up All Night was also picked up for a full season by NBC.

Comedian Reveals Aural Fixation with Married With Children Star
Howard Stern sidekick and Friend of Skin Artie Lange reveals in his new autobiography, Too Fat to Fish, that he pleasured himself to the sound of Christina Applegate talking on the other side of his dressing room wall when she was a guest on Mad TV.
"Like a moth to the flame, I got up and stood right behind the door," Artie recalls. "Just the sound of her talking about the most boring, everyday aspects of her wardrobe was too much for me."
So much in fact, that the Beer League star had to take splatters into his own hands.

Kelly Bundy to Get Kelly Busty Again
After bravely conquering breast cancer earlier this year with a double mastectomy, the always-classy sitcom goddess Christina Applegate has revealed that she's getting new apples this month. The Married ... with Children and Samantha Who? superstar will be having reconstructive surgery very soon. According to Celebitchy:
“I still have quite a process until this is done,” the actress says in the new issue of TV Guide. “Yes, it’s hard. It sucks. But I’m not a victim.”
She will undergo reconstructive surgery near her 37th birthday, at the end of November. She had a double mastectomy in July.
Big boobs, small boobs, real boobs, fake boobs, or no boobs at all, Applegate is a vision of perfection who's always worshiped at Skin Central. She could have poisonous snakes in lieu of breasts and we'd still be in love!

Who Needs the Debate When TV Skin is So Great?
Countless people watched the final presidential debate this week, and Mr Skin wonders why, when these seven days were jam-packed with flesh-flashing babes on the small screen!
The HBO vampire show True Blood continued its reliable run of naked babes you'll want to sink your teeth into--Anna Paquin busted out screen skin for the first time in her career!
