Sex o no sex (1974)

In his ribald Euro sex comedy Sex o no sex (1974), Spanish auteur Julio Diamante asks one of the biggest no brainers of them all: Sex or No Sex? But, of course, life isn’t always as easy as opting for or against, which is the fun of Diamante’s naughty exercise. With a star-studded Spanish cast that includes Antonio Ferrandis, Lola Gaos, Ágata Lys, Carmen Sevilla, and Jose Sacristan, Diamante probes the misunderstandings, frustrations, and illogical actions that prevent like-minded people from throwing their hands up and getting it on. Naturally nobody in their right mind would dare to propose “no sex” if the scantily clad Lys and Sevilla were to offer themselves up the way they do here. Sevilla even crawls around on a buffet platter to tempt her overwhelmed gentleman friend.
