If You Want To Go "Real" You Probably Have To Go Nude At Some Point

I think we can all agree that Netflix is kind of winning the Marvel Universe right now. Daredevil is substantially better than the last fewMarvel movies andJessica Jonesis a pretty awesome show. But if you were hoping for some nudity in the latter's second season, I've got a bit of bad news: it’s not going to happen.

Krysten Ritter will continue to kick a lot of ass and have some fantastic sex scenes, but the show will keep its whole “no nudity” thing going. In recent interview Melissa Rosenberg spoke about the darker side of Marvel universe (she describes it as PG-16 instead of PG-13) and how the intense acting makes up for the fact there is no nudity in the show.

There will be some sex to a degree, as said by executive producer and creator Melissa Rosenberg, but there will be no nudity involved. Rosenberg praised Krysten Ritter’s (playing Jessica Jones) acting that she can sell the scenes by creating emotions. This probably is key when one needs to film a believable sex scene without really resorting to nudity.

I can only speak for myself, but I’m sure others will agree with me when I say that I enjoy the darker side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but when you have the chance to be as real as possible, odds are you’re going to need a little nudity. Netflix hasn’t announced when the show will be returning, so a lot could happen between now and then.

Still, I quite enjoy Jessica Jones and seeing Krysten Ritter kick some ass is awesome, so nudity or not, I’m still going to watch season two.
