October is just around the corner, and with it comes creeping the annual avalanche of horror flicks that are rushed into theaters in time for Halloween.

Horror films have always featured copious nudity, but a lot has changed since the days of Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (1988). Case in point: The Human Centipede 2, whose director Tom Six says in a new interview with The New York Times:

"I see porno films, of course, and I like them, I have no problem with that at all. And there have been so many horror films, and that’s all torture and misery. That’s the genre. I kind of like that they combine it. I think my film is a torture porn with European art sauce or something."

After an enthusiastic premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin last night, IFC Films has acquired the movie for distribution in the US (the British Film Classification Board refused to give it a rating, essentially banning it in the UK) and is rushing it into theaters on October 7. Six promises that Human Centipede 2 will show everything that the surprisingly restrained The Human Centipede (2009) merely implied. The original did contain nudity from Ashley C. Williams and Ashlynn Yennie, and if you look closely at the official poster, you'll see that spinal cord is made out of shapely seat meat. We don't have a confirmed nudity report for this flick yet, but this is one of those movies that either you really want to see or you really, really don't. So if you do, you're probably in for a nude night at the movies-if you can keep your lunch down, anyway....

the womanFor his fourth feature, horror favorite Lucky McKee (May, 2002) turns towards The Woman (see the trailer HERE). In this twisted flick, a suburban father on a hunting trip encounters a feral female in the woods and chains her up in his basement to "civilize" her. She's not exactly grateful for the treatment, but you'll be grateful for star Pollyanna McIntosh's plentiful nudity, including full frontal as she's brought in from the wild. The Woman is being distributed by Bloody Disgusting Selects and hits theaters October 7.

skin i live inSex and Lucia (2001) star and Mr. Skin Nudity Hall-of-Famer Elena Anaya stars in Pedro Almodovar's latest film, The Skin I Live In (see the trailer HERE). In a departure for the usually not-so-morbid Almodovar, this polarizing horror flick stars Antonio Banderas as a sadistic plastic surgeon and Anaya as his unwilling (and frequently nude- our Skin Skout counted 8 different breast-baring scenes) guinea pig. The Skin I Live In is distributed by IFC Films and opens in America on October 14.

Also appearing in terror enespaol is volcanically voluptuous Argentinian centerfold Camila Velasco, seen here posing for a South American men's mag. Camila stars in the medical-experimentation horror Sudor Frio (Cold Sweat) (see the trailer HERE), where she strips topless as part of a devious- and delicious- plot skinvolving nitroglycerin. Camila eventually puts a top on, but is in panties from the 45 minute mark of the film onward. MPI Media Group has picked up Cold Sweat but hasn't scheduled an American release date yet, so look for it at film festivals.

Also picked up but with no release date yet (probably sometime in 2012) is You're Next, which sparked a bidding war when it played at this year's Toronto Film Festival. Nudecomers Kate Lyn Shei and Margaret Laney both make their topless debuts in this terrifying film, about a family reunion under siege by killers in creepy animal masks. You're Next also stars Sharni Vinson (seen at left) as the girlfriend of one of the family members whose mysterious past makes her very hard to kill.

Finally, we've got another horrifying nude debut from Gretchen Lodge in Lovely Molly (see the trailer HERE), a Satanic horror flick form the director of The Blair Witch Project. Nudecomer Gretchen bares boobs in three scenes, first in the tub and then having sex with her hubby in the childhood home where creepy visions are slowly driving her insane. Lovely Molly doesn't have a distributor yet, but the director is touring with it Paranormal Activity style, so keep an eye out for this one in your local arthouse.
