Sasha Grey is one of the adult industry’s most recognizable starlets.
After spending time doing theater and experimental film, Sasha appeared in her first porno movie right after she turned 18, doing an anal orgy scene with none other but veteran Rocco Siffredi in John “Buttman” Stagliano’s Fashionistas Safado: The Challenge.
Since then, Sasha’s resume has expanded to include dozens of titles, including Squirt Gangbang 1 (2007), Swallow My Children (2007), Teenage Anal Princess 5 (2006), and Cum Fart Cocktails 5 (2006). This year she had a role in the big budget adult feature Pirates II alongside Teagan Presley and Jesse Jane.

Tell us about filming Pirates 2. Did you have to train for the fight scenes? What was that like?
It was a brilliant experience. Yes, we learned some basic sword fighting skills (movie style of course); how to handle a cutlass, as it were.
What was it like working with Steven Soderbergh in The Girlfriend Experience? Did you do a lot of nudity in that movie?
Did you ever see that film The Limey? I mean this film is nothing like that, or Traffic anyway. you have understand. Wellit’s Steven Soderbergh, one of the best things to happen contemporary American cinema. I think you’ll enjoy the film when it comes out.
You recently worked alongside David Hess in Smash Cut. Were you a fan of his early movies like Last House on the Left and House on the Edge of the Park? Was that a fun movie to make?
Yes on both. Smash Cut was an awesome experience, very campy and a lot of fun to make. It felt like making a film with old friends, rather than with a crew I’d never met.
Your band aTelecine has a record coming out this year. How did you get started with that? How would you describe the sound?
Yes we do. I’ve been recording since two zero zero five..This E.P. consists of vignettes of noise, abstract dub, and thick, heavy soundscapes; sensual and dark, erotically-charged and bleak.
