Sands of the Kalahari (1965)

Plane-crash survivors in the African desert enact a Lord of the Flies for grown-ups in the adventure drama Sands of the Kalahari (1965). Although heat, sand, and wild beasts are a concern for the survivors of the crash, their major antagonist is the pilot--a bilious brute (Nigel Davenport) with no qualms about sexually molesting the hottest of those on board (Susannah York). The remaining survivors--a doctor, an elderly German, an engineer, and others--must band together and defend their own against the aggressive pilot, but the group they form is quickly embroiled in a vicious struggle for control. Despite the ruthless infighting and punishing conditions, York, for one, has never looked better. The sumptuous blonde never gets nude, but she does use the opportunity to strip way down and soak in the desert sun.
