Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance (2015)

Of all the strange things to come out of internet meme culture, sequels to "so bad they're good" movies might be one of the most surprising. In 1991 Samurai Cop was released direct to video, where it was lost among a slew of cheesy 90's martial arts movies. But when the internet discovered its corny dialogue, low budget stunt attempts, the bizarre "naughty nurse" flirting scene that revolved around a discussion about circumcision, and tons of both intentional and unintentional racism, suddenly a cult classic was born. 25 years later and one "Despite online rumors, I'm actually not dead" Youtube video from the original film's star Matt Hannon later, and along comes Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance (2015). After the Japanese killed his girlfriend in 1991, Detective Joe Marshall (Matt Hannon) decided he was done fighting crime. But when Fuj Fujiyama (Cranston Komuru) and his sword master henchman Linton (Tommy Wiseau) resurrect the Katana Gang to do battle with the Bai Ling led Yakuzas, Joe's old partner Frank Washington (Mark Frazer) calls on him for help. Dust off the shades and the sword, Joe, the world once again needs the Samurai Cop! Enter all sorts of goofy action scenes and intentionally stupid dialogue trying to rekindle the magic of the original. Mr. Skin's more into bush than bushido, so he was happy to see how many naked women there were in this long awaited follow up. Sure, most were porn stars, but would you really expect a bunch of A-listers in this one? Among the mams that caught our eye watching the Samurai, Bai Ling is featured as one of the Yakuza's deadly assassins, and she gets down to her underwear during an all-girl threesome. As Joe's apparently dead girlfriend, porn star Kayden Kross bares her breasts during a sex scene with Joe, who looks great for his age. But it's not just the Shogun getting girls to show them their tits. Lexi Belle goes bare to bang a fat senator, while Misty Stone lies naked on her bed with a dude after sex. That makes more sense than the full-frontal sword duel Charlotte Stokely engages in, though it's not as entertaining. Joycelyne Lew and Janice Farley show off their bikini bodies, as well, even if they don't go all the way. Revenge is a dish best served cold, even if the star ends up kind of old. But revenge is always sweet when it comes with a side of teet like in Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance (2015).
