A passion project if there ever was such a thing, Al Pacino's Salome (2013) is a film six years in the making. Pacino began the project, based on the play by Oscar Wilde, back in 2007 with a then-unknown actress by the name of Jessica Chastain, who has since become an Oscar-nominated powerhouse. Pacino directs and stars in the film, playing King Herod, and Chastain plays Salome, the woman who performed the lascivious "Dance of the Seven Veils" in exchange for Herod serving her the head of John the Baptist (Kevin Anderson) on a silver platter! Pacino attempted to bring the theatrical experience to life with this film, accounting for the incredibly long editing process, and we're glad he devoted so much time to it, because it was clearly worth the wait! When Jessica Chastain finally gets around to her dance, it is one of the most erotically charged scenes in cinema history! Jessica bares her chesty Chastains as she writhes and slithers her way around the stage, which is enough to have any red-blooded male ready to grab your sword and behead your own little baptist!
