Roger Ebert is best remembered as the Pulitzer Prize winning movie critic for the Chicago Sun-Times. But to skin fans his legacy was cemented when he first began collaborating with that towering figure of skinema, Russ Meyer.

The two became friends after Ebert wrote a letter to the Wall Street Journal praising Meyer’s work, and the legendary director later asked him to pen Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), Up! (1976), and Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (1979).

Now their friendship is getting a fictional treatment in Russ Roger Go Beyond, a film set during their collaboration on Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

Now the real question is: Who would have the natural endowments necessary to fill the epic cups of Meyer muses like Kitten Natividad and Uschi Digard? We’re looking at you, Christina Hendricks!
