Eco-tourists get put to the axe (or the harpoon) in the Icelandic slasher Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre (2009). An international group of tourists is out on a whale-watching trip, congratulating themselves on taking such an eco-conscious vacation. Then the captain of their boat suddenly disappears, helpfully ripping out the boat’s ignition before he goes. Confused and panicked, the group welcomes a passing boat as their saviors- until the natives turn out to be more interested in harpoons than hybrids.
