Relic Hunter

Relic Hunter (1999)

No Nudity

Review

Although it was basically only a small screen version of blockbusters like Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider, the adventure series Relic Hunter turned out to be pretty good. Among the reasons for its success were the usage of many international locations, decent special effects, and a fine main cast consisting of Tia Carrere, Christien Anholt, and Lindy Booth. Nevertheless it was cancelled after sixty-six episodes and three seasons in May 2002. Relic Hunter centered on the globe-trotting professor Sydney Fox (Carrere) who, supported by her linguistic assistant Nigel (Anholt) and the “blonde” secretary Claudia (Booth), searches the planet for all kinds of ancient artifacts in order to either bring them to a museum or their original owners. In the tradition of Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider, they often have to deal with greedy villains whose only interest is to make some money… Nudity? Forget it, but there are some very nice underwear and bikini-clad scenes involving Tia Carrere and Lindy Booth. If you want to see lovely Lindy in all her topless glory check out the ambitious Canadian drama Century Hotel which also contains additional nudity by the equally hot Mia Kirshner. Furthermore Tanja Reichert, who joined the cast in the third season, had a buck-naked sex-scene in the otherwise abysmal horror-flick Sanctimony.
