Yesterday we heard that spicy chef Giada De Laurentiis was hooking up with singer John Mayer. Juicy Giada issued a statement saying that the rumor was completely untrue, but it still must have been too much to take for her grandfather, Dino De Laurentiis, who died yesterday at the age of 91.

The Italian-born De Laurentiis produced roughly 150 films during his astounding career; Fellini's La Strada, Dune, and Conan the Barbarian among them. But don't miss Mr. Skin's favorite Dino-produced skin classics.

Mandingo
Diddle your dingle to Mandingo (1975), the story of a cruel slave-master in the 1840s who trains his servants to be bare-knuckled boxers. Whether you prefer black mamas or white mamas, there's something here for everyone, from the creamy cocoa casabas of the stunning Brenda Sykes to the Oreo skinterracial sex scene starring milky Susan George.

Barbarella
Barbarella (1968) is Jane Fonda nude in zero gravity. That's really all you need to know.

Ragtime
An adaptation of the E.L. Doctorow novel, Ragtime (1981) gives us the delicious Elizabeth McGovern in her single greatest nude scene--and her first! One look at Liz with her boobs, pubes, and butt bare, and you'll think it's Shagtime!

Blue Velvetblue velvet
Dino also lent his production skills to David Lynch's brooding 1986 cult hit Blue Velvet (1986). Ingrid Bergman's daughter-turned-model-turned-actress Isabella Rossellini bares all in the most skincredible perv-formance of her career. Maybe the fact that a fellow Italian was producing convinced her.

As De Laurentiis said of another of his famous productions, King Kong (1976): "When monkey die, everybody gonna cry." Today, everybody's crying over you, Dino.
