Queen Sugar (2016-2021)

Produced by winning combo Oprah Winrey and Ava DuVernay, Queen Sugar is based on the epoynmous novel by Natalie Baszile. The series is about the Bordelon siblings, who inherit a massive sugarcane farm when their father dies - and, of course, face massive scandal along the way. Sisters Nova (Rutina Wesley) and Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardener) move out to LA with their brother and Charley's teenage son Micah to take care of the place, along the way getting into major trouble with their beaus. Luckily, disaster doesn't strike before Rutina bares her rump when she's wearing nothing but a thong in bed! This incredible show helmed by an all-women production crew is turning out to be a must-see.
