Religious zealots are so transparent in their crusades to curtail the carnal joys of those sensation-sated souls who want nothing more than to erotically frolic and flash flesh free from constraints or prosecution. The divine irony of men of the cloth harassing persons who prefer to be unclothed is that in reality, as well as in such arousing and thought-provoking filmed fictions as Preaching to the Perverted (1997), there is far more news and entertainment value in a proselytizing puritan being converted to the wondrous ways of deviant desire than there is in some sinner being saved and set aside for later shipment to heaven. Suffice it to say that the campaigning moralists of Preaching to the Perverted are destined for a conversion beyond their wickedest imaginations.
