The true story followsDr. William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans) as he creates his infamous Wonder Woman character.Marston was a Harvard professor in psychology, and the inspiration for Wonder Woman came from his colleague and wife Elizabeth Marston (Rebecca Hall) and their student Olive Byrne (Bella Heathcote). Olivealso happens to be the welcomed third wheel in their polyamorous relationship. The two women held progressive feminist ideals, and Dr. Marston drew heavily from their intellectual conversations when creating the powerful Amazonian Wonder Woman.
Dr. Marston passed away in 1947, but Olive and Elizabeth kept the party going for another 40 years as lesbian lovers. Now, about the nudity.
