The topical talkfest Politically Incorrect got its start on Comedy Central before moving over to ABC and proving to be too politically incorrect for broadcast TV. Yanked in 2002 in a fit of network 9/11 anxiety, the groundbreaking series joined Bill Maher's cynical style of comedy with roundtable discussions on politics and current events. On any given night you might see a right-wing rabble-rouser squaring off with rock stars, politicians, and hopping-mad hottie Janeane Garofalo, who did some honing of her talk chops here before landing her radio show.
