Paradis criminel (2012)

The French television miniseries Paradis Criminel (2012), alternately known as Who Killed Little Red Riding Hood?, focuses on an unconventional crime and the equally unconventional detective attempting to solve the crime. In the remote forest town of Laydène, a pair of teenage lovers are found brutally assaulted and left for dead. The boy is found lifeless on the side of the road having succumbed to his injuries, but the girl Eve (Johanna Bah) is found in the woods clinging to life. She is put into a medically induced coma as a means of attempting to save her life, but the citizens of this small town that has been devoid of any major crime like this is up in arms over the implications of the crime. Detective Tom Porteur (Quentin Baillot) is assigned the case and notices some immediate inconsistencies. Though the citizens of the town claim that they want to help in any way, they seem to be stonewalling the detective at every step, leading him to believe that each of them has something to hide. Now, his only hope in solving the case rests in Eve's hands, because once she is out of her coma, he knows that she can help him put the pieces together. It would be difficult to call this film's nudity sexy in the conventional sense, but there's no denying that seeing Jemima West's bare buns in the shower is mighty sexy! We also get a full frontal flash from Jemima when—spoiler alert—she is found dead by hanging, completely nude with a bird drawn in lipstick on her stomach! Not getting more skin from Jemima when her character was still alive is downright Criminel!
