Biography

Few remember her 1984-85 stint on Saturday Night Live, but don't blame Pamela Stephenson--after all, she wasn't allowed to regularly strip like she did on the BBC's hilarious series Not the Nine O'Clock News. Anyway, this New Zealand-born beauty's short SNL gig was so depressing that she gave up comedy soon afterward, leaving behind an impressive body of work that featured her impressive body. Big-breasted blondes don't come much funnier and stunnier, as Pamela proved by showing off her laugh lines in British comedies such as Bloodbath at the House of Death (1985) and Stand Up, Virgin Soldiers (1976). However, her best skindeavor occurred in the British horror film The Comeback (1978). It's a fitting title because audience members wished they could come on her backside after seeing it squeezed by her co-star. Americans audiences also got to ogle Pamela's parts in a revealing scene from Mel Brooks's History of the World: Part I (1981). Her boobs are too big for her corset, which slide just enough to expose her areolas. Unfortunately, that was the last exposure we would get from Pamela. She wound down her career in the late 1980s after appearing in the movies Les Patterson Saves the World (1987) and Ghosts CAN Do It (1987) and the TV series Ratman. Her final acting role came in a 1994 episode of Columbo. Pamela now resides in the U.S. with her husband, legendary UK comedian Billy Connolly, where she enjoys life as Dr. Stephenson Connolly, distinguished lecturer on psychology. Now that's a punchline!
