Pamela Rodgers got her big break back in 1965 as one of Vincent Price’s con-artist robots in the overly-hip comedy Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine. The army of Bikini-clad babes (sorry… Robot babes…) included the likes of former Playboy Playmate China Lee, as well as such “Beach Flick” staples as Mary Hughes, Luree Holmes, and Laura Nicholson, so there’s no shortage of tight little bodies running around in skimpy bathing suits… They just don’t get naked… What a tease!Fortunately, Dr. Goldfoot, as well as such cinematic endeavors as Out of Sight and The Silencers, led to a bit of notoriety for the lovely young lass, who subsequently landed a recurring gig on the long-running hit variety series Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. She also had a supporting role in Dick Martin and Dan Rowan’s feature spoof The Maltese Bippy… Again, the role provided Pamela plenty of opportunities to display her wares vis-à-vis a skimpy swimsuit, but yet again, there was no nudity to be seen…Fortunately, in 1969, Pamela appeared in a fairly noteworthy state of undress in the Lana Turner thriller The Big Cube, although it amounts to little more than yet-more-Bikini-clad goodness… She plays a hippy in the flick, though, so there’s nary a bra in her ensemble, allowing for a nice poke-through or two, so it’s not a complete wash…
