Olympus (2015)

By the beard of Zeus! From the people behind Tin Man (2007), Alice (2009) and Neverland (2011) comes Olympus. The show's a one hour, British-Canadian, re-imagining of Greek mythology airing stateside on the SyFy Channel and it's filled with action, monsters and a bunch of people with swords and sandals. Set in 2014 B.C., it's about how a group of fearless men and women were able to defeat and wrangle the powerful gods and send them straight to the Underworld. The main focus is Tom York who stars as Hero, our protagonist who is never mentioned by name. He's a young, fearless lad who risks his tail battling big, freakish baddies from classic Greek lore. The production values here are very much SyFy level (i.e. cheesy), but the show does feature top quality hottie Sonya Cassidy in a fully nude sex scene but you can't see anything. I guess the gods weren't kind to us this time.
