O (2001)

O (2001) is a rendition of Shakespeare’s play Othello, updated for the modern age, placed in a boarding school, and centered around a basketball team. A coach named Duke Goulding is in charge of the basketball team, and his son, Hugo, feels unnoticed despite what he thinks are his amazing skills on the court. The coach gives the best player award to the only black player on the team, Odin James. To make matters worse, the coach remarked that he thinks of Odin as his own son. Now Hugo, with his ever present popularity in school, looks to attack Odin. Julia Stiles plays Odin’s girlfriend, and in one scene we get to see her remove her shirt, but our point of view is from the back. No nudity, but still a decent scene. And, sorry, but, no O face either.
