Nynke (2001)

A middle class housewife breaks convention to live her own life in Nynke (2001). Nynke (Monic Hendrickx) gets married to Dutch socialist party founder Pieter Jelles Troelstra (Jeroen Willems) at a young age, and is soon plagued by depression. While Troelstra's political life is ramping up, he spends more and more time away from home, and Nynke begin writing books to fill the time. When their marriage inevitably breaks down, Nynke finally achieves success. Monic Hendrickx stars as the eponymous protagonist and earns that extra X in her name with a series of topless appearances.
