When we heard that Chloe Sevigny was hopping the pond to play a transgendered assassin on UK cable, so many questions came to mind. Pre-op or post-op? Topless or full frontal? Just how far are they going to go with this?

When you think of barely-legal Disney Channel celebs Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, the first things you think of are sniffing glue, killing cats, and eating spaghetti in a filthy bathtub, right?

Yeah, us either. That's why we were surprised (to put it mildly) that Spring Breakers, starring Vanessa, Selena, and baby-faced babes Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, is being directed by indie bad-boy Harmony Korine. Harmony put all of the above and more (like Chloe Sevigny's boobs, left) into his provocative directorial debut Gummo (1998).

And Korine hasn't mellowed with age- Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) is a meditation on schizophrenia with a disturbing incest subplot, Mister Lonely (2007) stars a bizarre family of celebrity impersonators, and Trash Humpers (2009) is exactly it sounds like, a shot-on-VHS transmission from another galaxy where deviants in old-man masks hump garbage bags.

So he's a strange choice, to say the least, for a big-budget studio pic like Spring Breakers, currently filming in Florida and accompanied by a tidal wave of news coverage that usually reads something like "OMG SELENA GOMEZ SPOTTED DRINKING WHAT WILL JUSTIN BIEBER THINK?!?"

So has Harmony sold out, or are we about to see a side (hopefully the front, but the side would do too) of these tween idols that we could never have imagined? Either way, color us SKINtrigued.

The cast list for Lovelace has been more unstable than Paz de la Huerta on a Jagermeister binge, and this week was no exception as Demi Moore dropped out of her role as Gloria Steinem thanks to her ongoing battle with "exhaustion".

We're sad to see Demi go, but while we've lost one Nudity Hall-of-Famer, we've gained...another Nudity Hall-of-Famer as indie darling Chloe Sevigny joins the cast.

Chloe will be playing a "feminist journalist on freelance assignment for a men's magazine to find out who the real Linda Lovelace is," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

We think that Chloe's a perfect choice for Lovelace, given her onscreen (s)experience- just check out her unsimulated schlong-slurping scene in The Brown Bunny (2003) and you'll see she's a lady who knows her way around a dong. Hey Chloe, if you need any stunt dicks to give Amanda Seyfried pointers on set...call us!

UPDATE: Entertainment Weekly is now reporting that Sarah Jessica Parker will replace Demi Moore, sadly breaking the movie's pattern of hiring Mr. Skin Nudity Hall-of-Famers.

...and no, it's not a remake of Sleepaway Camp (1983). How's this for an odd news item: Chloe Sevigny in a role we hope she DOESN'T get naked for! Chloe, after ending a successful nude run as a sister wife on Big Love, is hopping the pond for a role as a transgendered assassin for the new British series Hit and Miss (Get it? HIT and MISS?) Chloe's character is a hot hit woman with a secret between her thighs, a secret which becomes difficult to keep when she finds out she's the father of several illegitimate children. Chloe's already very familiar with cock (see: The Brown Bunny), so this should be a cinch for her.

Hit and Miss was created by Paul Abbott, who created the original British incarnation of Shameless (The American version of which stars our beloved Emmy Rossum) for the the SKY TV satellite network, which is like the UK's HBO (They also carry Weeds and Game of Thrones). Paul and Chloe are both unafraid of onscreen nudity (to say the least), so there may be some anatomy in this thing...no word yet on whether Chloe's character is pre- or post-op,which would make ALL the difference as far as Skin Central is concerned.

Director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man,The Evil Dead) is known for his stubborn attachment to his casting choices, and now he's got his sights set on Hilary Swank for his upcoming big-budget fantasy Oz: The Great and Powerful. Hilary's up for the role of Wicked Witch of the East, the older sister of Mila Kunis' Wicked Witch of the West.

But the studio suits aren't exactly under Hilary's spell- fearing the box-office curse that has plagued Swank lately, they've proposed Blue Valentine's Michelle Williams for the role instead. Now it looks like Raimi's settling in for a long battle with the studio, leading us here at Skin Central to wonder: which witch is more deserving of the pointy hat?
