Don't believe the hype machine when it tells you The Descendants star Shailene Woodley goes topless in the new issue of Vs. Magazine. Sure, technically she's got no shirt on, but when your back is to the camera we don't call that "topless" here at Skin Central, we just call it "boring."

No, the real find from this multi-cover issue (which also features covered-sexy shots from Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Olsen, and Helena Christensen) comes from Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) star Rosie-Huntington Whitely, who shows us the dark of her boob through a sheer black nightie.

It's not as good as the topless pics of Rosie that were unearthed last fall, but as long as everything's coming up Rosie (and we're coming up looking at her), we've got no complaints.

Guys, we've got good news and we've got bad news about Amanda Seyfried.

Good news first: Amanda's been doing some pretty skintense research for her part as Linda Lovelace, which as you might expect has meant familiarizing herself with Linda's, shall we say, oevure. No word on whether she watched the infamous 8mm reel starring Linda and a dog, but she tells Glamour magazine she did screen Deep Throat (1972). Amanda's reaction?

"What surprised me was the amount of pubic hair!" You poor, sweet, innocent girl.

The bad news? In the same interview, Amanda lays this bomb on us:

"I'm pretty sure I would never do full frontal for a movie," Seyfried said. "For personal reasons, I wouldn't really want to show that."

Ouch. Look on the bright side- at least she said "pretty sure" and not "definitely would not". That's something, right?

Happy December! Ring in the start of the holiday season with some hole-idays. Furry hole-idays, that is, featuring ten tasty temptresses who were born in the last month of the year. Christmas won't be the only thing coming when you get a load of Julianne Moore, Alyssa Milano, and the rest of our Top 10 Naked Stars Born in December.

We can't imagine why so many actresses have been attached to the role of Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic Lovelace- after all, it's not every day you get offered the role of (literally) the biggest cocksucker in history.

Nevertheless, it's been a regular revolving door over at the offices of Lovelace, LLC. First Kate Hudson dropped out to have a baby, and then Olivia Wilde dropped out, apparently for no particular reason, after it was widely reported she would be playing the role. (Meanwhile, Swedish star Malin Akerman remains attached to a rival project, Inferno: The Linda Lovelace Story).

Now Olivia's nude Alpha Dog (2006) co-star Amanda Seyfried has begun negotiations to play the skinfamous porn star, which is slappy news for skin fans. Amanda may be young, but she's already proven herself more than willing to strip down on screen, even winning an Anatomy Award for Best Lesbian Scene for her cougar/kitten encounter with Julianne Moore in Chloe (2009). Let's just hope that, like the floors of a porno theater, this one sticks.

If Amanda Seyfried has her way, she'll be skinducted into the Mr. Skin Nudity Hall-of-Fame sooner rather than later. The 26-year-old already has a pretty skinpressive nude resume, and Amanda says in new interview with W magazine that, unlike actresses who just grin and bear it when they're baring it on screen, she actually really digs sex scenes:

"Sex scenes are great. A lot of my co-stars have been sexy guys my age, and so, why not? I'm not going to pretend it's not fun."

And let's not forget Amanda's penchant for pearl diving- we like her Anatomy-Award winning lesbian scene with Julianne Moore in Chloe (2010), but Amanda has a soft spot for Jennifer's Body (2009):

"'Jennifer's Body is my favorite movie that I've done. It was overlooked in theaters, but it does have a DVD following. I can't believe nobody wanted to see Megan Fox and me hitting it. They had an extreme close-up of our tongues, and I'm telling you, the thing about the scene is that it's actually really sexy.

"For a young girl to say that about her own sex scene-it must be because it's special. I think Megan and I kissed really well together. We have similar kissing styles and it worked. We got it done for the masses, and the masses still didn't show up."

Mr. Skin's Skin Skout caught a screening of the upcoming drama Take This Waltz at the Toronto Film Festival, and the early report confirms that comedienne Sarah Silverman appears to make her nude debut 41 minutes into the film. Sarah, along with Blue Valentine babe Michelle Williams and Bliss's Jennifer Podemski, bares full frontal as the gals casually chat in a locker room. (Williams, a veteran of 6 nude roles, bares bush again at the 51-minute mark and boobs 1 hour, 37 minutes in, but this is the only skin scene featuring nudecomer Silverman).

The always sarcastic Sarah has been on a campaign of self-deprecation since the news of her nude scene broke last winter, telling New York magazine that she gained 20 pounds for the role and that "In all honesty, I would say it's a lot closer to Kathy Bates in About Schmidt than, like, Julianne Moore in Short Cuts. I am begging you to lower your expectations!"

Speaking of lowered expectations, though the cast hasn't admitted to faking their nudes, with the film still on the festival circuit our skin technicians haven't had a chance to skinspect the footage for CGI nipples or merkins- and with Apatow regular Seth Rogen on the project, there's always a chance he brought some of that bad The Change-Up juju with him.

Our verdict? Cautiously optimistic. There IS a full frontal scene in Take This Waltz, and we're betting Sarah is looking a lot better than her comedic sensibilities will let her admit. But with the threat of CGI nudes on the horizon, we'll believe tits when we see 'em.
