Skin Central likes a good superhero action flick as much as the next guy, but we do have one critique of the Marvel machine: their movies tend to be sausage fests. Case in point- out of the dozens of characters in Captain America: the First Avenger, only two, Hayley Atwell (who's never appeared nude) and Natalie Dormer (nude in The Tudors), are female.

Well, looks like two will continue to be the magic number for Marvel as Scarlett Johannson's Black Widow acquires a galpal to trade beauty tips with in the S.H.I.E.L.D.locker room. Amanda Righetti has been cast in the upcoming Avengers movie as "an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Amanda's character hasn't been publicly announced yet, but she's likely to be playing Sharon Carter, niece of Cap's galpal Peggy Carter (Atwell) and badass mercenary.

Amanda's best known for her role as bad girl Hayley on teen soap The O.C., but she's breast known at Mr. Skin for her fantastic nudity in the thriller Angel Blade (2002), where she handcuffs her lover to the bed and skingages in some kinky knife play. Could this be skinspiration for killer nudes in The Avengers? Not likely, but Skin Central's still looking forward to her (almost certainly) skin-tight superhero ensemble.

See the Skin They Can’t Show You in Maxim

The new issue of Maxim magazine hits the stands tomorrow, and it will bear a list of what the magazine’s editors consider to be the world’s hottest women.

As fans of celebrity nudity know all too well, the hottest actresses are not always the nakedest. However, a preliminary look at the Hot 100 has revealed a slew of Hollywood’s best undressed among their ranks.

In the top ten, there are five bare-bodied beauties. Naked Olivia Wilde, coming in at number one, shows boobs, butt and bush in Alpha Dog. Number four is Swedish sweetheart Malin Akerman, who first got topless in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and most recently in Watchmen.

Number six Eliza Dushku finally broke her boob-ban in The Alphabet Killer. Ivy League eyeful and Maxim’s number nine Jordana Brewster’s mammaries matriculated in The Invisible Circus and number ten Jennifer Love Hewitt had some great accidental skin in The Tuxedo.

Chalk it up to wardrobe malfunction, but it seems that when it comes to nudity, Jennifer Loves to Do-itt.

Welcome back my friends, to Castle Rackula. I know a laid a heavy trip on you last week with my long-winded discourse on the ancient Indo-European roots of modern rape-revenge flicks, but since the Last House on the Left remake still isn’t out, this week I’m turning once again to Friday the 13th, a subject on which I always have something to say.

The reboot has been on my mind again this week as I perused the new photos of Willa Ford and Julianna Guill online and noticed that there’s yet another Friday the 13th (the day, not the movie) coming up in a few weeks, which I haven’t decided yet how to acknowledge.

According to movie industry blog Risky Business, New Line and Platinum Dunes are moving forward on a sequel to the Friday the 13th reboot, which will also be scripted by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift and could be out by the second half of next year.

I have already gotten over my earlier discomfort with bringing in a hockey-masked Jason Voorhees into a movie called Friday the 13th, but I’ve made my peace with that.

Reportedly, Shannon and Swift, who looked to the first four movies for inspiration, are going off on their own at this point, (perhaps wisely) disregarding the Tommy Jarvis story arc that picked up in A New Beginning and completely avoiding any telekinetic teenagers or forays into New York City.
