Also nude on Blu-ray, sink your teeth into some lesbian Euro-vamps as Jean Rollin's Shiver of the Vampires (1970), The Nude Vampire (1970), Lips of Blood (1975) and Fascination (1979) get the HD treatment.

Pollyanna McIntosh stars in the week's only notable nude release, The Woman (2011), where she bares her McIntosh apples and full-frontal furburger as a feral female.

Once pretty much what it sounds like- a repertory theater showing silent movies- Cinefamily has transformed the Silent Movie Theater into an internationally renowned cinema destination that's known for its wildly eclectic programming, original content, crazy patio parties, and excellent in-depth Q&A s.

This weekend Cinefamily is mounting its most ambitious project yet: Cinefamily's Fantastic Elastic 24-Hour Holiday Telethon, a 24-hour star-studded event with guests like Benicio Del Toro, Spike Jonze, Doug Benson and even Robert Forster on hand to raise money for the theater. The Cinefamily is a nonprofit and depends on memberships for support, making the telethon both a celebration of their successes and a deciding factor of their future.

Hadrian truly has a vision for how to bring movie theaters into the internet age, one that includes both online events and expanding the Family into a national network of theaters. True to this spirit, Cinefamily will be live streaming the entire 24-hour telethon on its website, so even if you don't live in LA, you can still be part of the Family.

Thanks to the films of Jean Rollin, we have plenty of fully nude footage of tasty French dishes like eye-popping porn princess Brigitte Lahaie and tempting twins Marie-Pierre and Catherine Castel.

Gone but not forgotten, Jean Rollin will live on in the many skinspirational films he left behind.

Number 23: Brigitte Lahaie

France, the country of love, has supplied the world with countless beauties whose power to erotically mesmerize might, in the right setting, be described as frightening.

Throughout the late 1980s, beloved Chicago film critics Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert campaigned for a rating to replace the MPAA’s dreaded X which, at first, had been used to designate all manner of films containing patently adult content (such as the 1968 Best Picture Academy Award winner Midnight Cowboy).

In the wake of Deep Throat, however, the X-rating became synonymous with hardcore pornography. Siskel and Ebert led the charge for a new rating – they suggested “A” (for adult) – that could be applied to non-sexploitation films that were intended for audiences over the age of 17.

The MPAA ultimately concocted the NC-17 rating, which stands for No Children Under 17, and the first film to reach the public bearing its imprimatur was flesh-friendly director Philip Kaufman’s Henry & June, which opened in theaters on this date in 1990.

Henry & June stars Fred Ward and young Uma Thurman in the titular roles, as libertine author Henry Miller and his omnisexual gamine wife June. The story focuses specifically on their mutual sexual entanglements with erotic writer Anaïs Nin -- scorchingly embodied by Maria de Madeiros -- in 1920s Paris.

Uma and Maria explode in a lust-tastic lesbian scene, and the rest of the movie is chock full of naked nubiles (including Brigitte Lahaie) celebrating sexual freedom as they truly did – and as the NC-17 rating, finally, made possible.
