It's a slow week for marquee nudes on DVD and Blu-ray, with the non-nude Bridesmaids, starring Kristin Wiig and Rose Byrne, leading the pack. Genre fans will have a much slappier week, however, as a barrage of scary skin flicks including sorority slasher The Initiation(1984), gastropod gorefest Slugs (1988), and Ozploitation opus Dead-End Drive In (1986) hit DVD.

Also new on DVD and Blu-ray, sink your teeth into the lady bloodsuckers of Vamp (1986) and We Are the Night (2011).

The heavy-metal remake of Conan the Barbarian hits theaters this weekend, and no big-budget ode to the glory of testosterone would be complete without some bodacious barbarian babes baring boobs! A mere 1 minute in to the 2011 reboot, Eastern European eyeful Aysun Aptulova bares her breasts as she's tied up and prepared for sacrifice, and 29 minutes in Playboy bunnies Alina Puscau and Zlatka Raikova play sexy slave women who greet their liberator Conan the breast way possible- topless. Later in the film, Rachel Nichols appears to go nude in a sex scene with star Jason Momoa, but don't be fooled- that's the evil sorcery of a body double.

Holy exploitation explosion! The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the baddest of all blaxploitation babes, Pam Grier, has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy exploitation flick Skinny Dip. Skinny Dip is the story of a naive young girl who, after being horribly victimized during a dare gone wrong, takes the law into her own hands and seeks revenge with a shotgun and a stolen police uniform. As is often the case with these sorts of grindhouse-throwback boobs n' bloodbaths, the tagline says it all:

"They took her bikini. They took her virginity. She took her revenge!"

Pam Grier joins already-confirmed cast members (and fellow Mr. Skin Nudity All-Stars) Sasha Grey and Brigitte Neilsen, and the combination of these three intrepid nude warriors on screen is almost too much for Skin Central to bear. We're seriously having trouble typing coherent sentences here- a shotgun-wielding Sasha Grey in a rape-revenge exploitation movie costarring two generations' worth of badass skinema icons? We're just going to let the director, Frankie Latina, take over from here while we go, uhm, think about this:

“I grew up on and have always loved the films of the 70’s and 80’s featuring such on-screen idols as Pam Grier, Laura Gemser and Grace Jones,” said Latina. “They contain, in my opinion, some the most powerful female performances in cinema history. Skinny Dip will draw from a new, equally powerful and provocative actress in Sasha Grey. Combining the wild, exploitative sensibility of grindhouse films with strong female characters drawn from the present – these are the kinds of films I make and want to see.”

Us too, Frankie. Us too. THR reports that Skinny Dip will begin filming in Santa Marta, Columbia next month.

In ancient myths that span the globe, sirens were female creatures who summoned all sailors within earshot with songs so irresistible that the seamen could not help but veer off course to see the source of such impossibly beautiful music.

The joke was on them, then, when the sirens inevitably lured them to crashing deaths among the jagged rocks that the sinister songbirds called home.

Thousands of years later, rock chicks would pretty much fulfill the same role.

From Eisenhower-era sock hops to the inescapable hip-hop of today, rock chicks have looked good, sounded great, and seldom delivered when it came to celebrity skin. There have been a few flesh-baring exceptions.
