Modern Family was the big winner at last night's Primetime Emmy Awards, dominating the comedy categories for the second year in a row. While we agree that the coconuts on Sofia Vergara's chest are truly award-worthy, we extend one hand in congratulations to Kate Winslet, who won for Best Actress in a Mini-Series for the fantastically nude Mildred Pierce, and Martin Scorcese, who won Outstanding Direction in a Drama Series for the also nude-heavy Boardwalk Empire.

The dark comedy Assassination of a High School President (2008) stars Reece Thompson as a reporter on the school newspaper who uncovers a vast and evil conspiracy after he mistakenly accuses student-body president and popular jock Patrick James Taylor of stealing a stack of SAT tests. Mischa Barton appears as the disgraced jock’s girlfriend who mysteriously starts making moves on Reece after her boyfriend’s fall from grace. Mischa gets a B average in Toplessness 101 when she bares both boobs in the tub three separate times. If she stood up, she could raise her grade (among other things).

In the last couple of years, American television has taken a hint from the European boob tube and has, at long last, finally begun featuring more and more flesh on the small screen. It's about time!

So it's with full hearts and filthy minds that we look ahead to the fall TV season and the brand new shows that will be featured.

Julianna Margulies, the exquisite brunette from ER and The Sopranos, had a hot seat next to Claire Danes at a New York fashion show last night.
