Ian Christe is king of the metalheads. We know it's hard to hear, headbangers, and we're sure your record collection is appropriately trv, but this guy wrote the book. Literally. His book Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal, first published in 2003, contains over 400 pages of hard-rocking history and has been translated into German, Czech, Finnish, French, Japanese, and Spanish, among others (more on that later).

Ian has since translated his incredible knowledge of all things heavy into the popular Sirius Satellite Radio show Bloody Roots, where every week he "preaches a lesson in heavy metal heritage, with inside stories and tons of rare music from all of metal's many subspecies," and Bazillion Points Books, which published Swedish Sensationsfilms earlier this year (read our interview with author Daniel Ekeroth here) and next year will bring Heavy Metal Movies to life with our own Mike McBeardo.

You’ll be red in de Palmas this week as the nude Brian de Palma classics Dressed to Kill (1980) and Scarface (1983) hit Blu-Ray. In other Blu-Ray nudes, Straw Dogs celebrates its 40th anniversary with a deluxe re-issue, and 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002) gives up DVD instead of sex this year. A wise choice.

Big Bad Mama/Big Bad Mama II
Brassy '70s sex bomb Angie Dickinson is the mamtastic matriarch of a Depression-era bootlegging family. And the family that commits crimes together strips together, and as Angie and her bad girl daughters Robbie Lee and Susan Sennett are big, bad, and bare in Big Bad Mama (1974). Angie returns, guns blazing, in Big Bad Mama II (1987), but she uses a body double for her nude scenes. But it's not like mother, like daughters here, since her onscreen progeny Julie McCullough and All in the Family cutie Danielle Brisebois strip down and get criminally bare.

Lady in Red/Crazy Mama
Two Roger Corman cult classics get a box set reissue with The Lady in Red (1979) and another "mama", Crazy Mama (1975). The former has the colossal bazooms of Russ Meyer staple Kitten Natividad and TV's Nancy Drew, Pamela Sue Martin, who turns us all into HARDy boys with her naked boobs. And Crazy Mama has some bare buttage thanks to Linda Purl, as well as a rare nip slip from Dancing with the Stars alum Cloris Leachman. Take off the red, lady, and show us those crazy mams!

Videodrome (Blu-ray)
Blondie's Debbie Harry takes her sultriness off the stage and onto the screen in David Cronenberg's beloved sci-fi freakout Videodrome (1983).
