It seems like you're nobody in Hollywood these days unless you've been on both sides of the camera, and Scarlett Johansson is eager to be somebody.

The actress announced this week that she'll be making her directorial debut next year with Summer Crossing, a coming-of-age tale set in 1940s New York and based on a novella by Breakfast at Tiffany's author Truman Capote. No word yet on whether or not Scarlett will cast herself in the lead role...or talk herself into doing a nude scene.

Sarah Silverman: funny? Yes. Hot? Definitely. Nude? Never!

The juicy Jew seems to be willing to go as far as it takes to get a laugh, but so far, she's drawn the line at showing off her comedienne can. But according to a new interview, she says she'll strip down for the upcoming Sarah Polley-directed movie Take this Waltz.

"I go totally naked," says Silverman. "Full frontal. It's going to be awful. It's so not pretty... Filming [that movie] was awesome. Sarah Polley is so fucking cool. So kind. She knows exactly what she wants, she knows how to get it.

Let's just hope that was Sarah Polley wants is Sarah Silverman naked... and that she gets it! After all, Polley's no stranger to stripping on celluloid, having shown off her bare bits in four roles, including The Secret Life of Words (2005).

Costar Michelle Williams also recently told an interviewer that she too gets naked in the film, so if Silverman pulls a Sandra Bullock in The Proposal (2009) and gets naked BUT hides the good parts, we know we can count on Michelle to make our pants dance for Take This Waltz.

It's hard work being a sexy actress. It's harder work being a sexy, often-nude actress. And the hardest workers of all? Sexy, often-nude actresses who occasionally step behind the camera to direct films of their own.

Kate Winslet and Anna Paquin Bring Home Awards for Showing off Their Trophies at 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Last night's Golden Globe awards didn't honor the astonishing array of golden globes that have made their way to the big and small screens over the past year—with two very worthy exceptions. The skinless Slumdog Millionaire taking home the most statues of the night on the movie side, and for television the big winner was John Adams, which did at least offer up Sarah Polley's right cracker.

But while reliably nude pay-cable hits like Californication, Weeds, and Entourage came up empty handed, a pair of the best nude scenes of the past twelve months were somewhat surprisingly honored. Former child star Anna Paquin won for her role as a vampire lover who repeatedly bares her chest fangs on True Blood.

But the big winner of the night was definitely Kate Winslet. The master thespian's name shows up in the list of nominees every couple of years, but until last night the oft-nude actress had never taken home the trophy. Kate was honored twice last night, winning Best Supporting Actress for The Reader and Best Actress Drama for Revolutionary Road. Kate's unbelievable nudity in The Reader—which is easily one of the best barings of her career—obviously helped her bring home the gold, even with Marisa Tomei's equally impressive nudity in The Wrestler as her closest stiff(nipped) competition. As for Revolutionary Road, where Kate kept covered, Mr Skin can't explain it. Good acting, maybe?
