Brooke Shields was absolutely unforgettable in The Blue Lagoon (1980)- not least because she was only 15 when she played perpetually undressed castaway Emmeline.

(But don't panic, Skin fans- Brooke used a body double for her topless scenes in the film, making that palm tree in your pants, while controversial, not out-and-out Traci Lords illegal.)

Now that Blue Lagoon is being remade, the time is right for some totally-above-board, completely guilt-free nudity from the new lead, 21-year-old Australian soap star Indiana Evans (left), right? Wrong.

Unlike the barely-there scraps of fabric Brooke wore in the 1980 movie, pics from the set show Indiana dressed in sand-covered skinny jeans, tank tops, and jean shorts, though a shot of her clad in a long white robe like actors often wear between takes of nude scenes leaves some potential for skin.

So don't make Mr. Skin blue, Indiana...show off those lagoons!

Tesco Vee has been at the forefront of punk since the days when a Mohawk and a spiked collar was a political statement, not a fashion statement...although the only political statement Tesco would make is that "Politics Suck."

As he told Skin Central: "All the other bands were railing against Reagan and social injustice, and I was writing songs about poop and boners."

He founded the legendary punk 'zine Touch and Go while working as an elementary school teacher in Michigan in 1979, then watched his creation grow into a rallying point for fledgling punk and hardcore scenes scattered across the USA and eventually into a record label.

He's also the front man for The Meatmen, a punk rock powerhouse with an outrageous live show and hilariously politically incorrect songs like Camel Jockeys Suck, Blow Me Jah, French People Suck, and Lesbian Death Dirge.

Now Tesco's infectious brand of potty-mouthed humor has been re-introduced to the world with the reformation of The Meatmen in 2008 and the collection of every issue of his famous 'zine into the book Touch and Go: The Complete Hardcore Punk Zine '79-'83, published by Bazillion Points.

We caught up with Tesco driving around his home state of Michigan, and he proved himself to be very much a man after Mr. Skin's own hard-on.

Brooklyn-born Guccione founded the semen-al Penthouse magazine in the 1960s, which became the first skin mag to feature bush, which gives it a special place in Mr. Skin's heart.

A Tender Moment

“A new star graces that firmament we can’t quite reach,” porn star Georgina Spelvin wrote in response to the news of her friend, 56-year-old porn legend Marilyn Chambers, nude in dozens of movies, who died Easter Sunday.

It takes a special kind of lady to make a box of soap dirty. And that lady was the one and only Golden Age porn star Marilyn Chambers, formerly the face of Ivory Soap and later the star of the X-rated classic Behind the Green Door and David Cronenberg’s fright flick Rabid.

When the wholesome, spokesmodel-esque Marilyn walked into the audition for the 1972 flesh-flick Behind the Green Door, she had already acted in the Barbara Streisand comedy The Owl and the Pussycat and the skin-filled 1971 hippie movie Together, directed by Friday the 13th’s Sean S. Cunningham.

Originally, she was to have a non-sex role in Green Door, but the Mitchell Brothers, who directed the movie and were later the subject of the biopic Rated X, talked her into doing her first hardcore scenes, leading to a career of sizzling, taboo-busting, on-screen sex acts.

And she never looked back (unless it was to reach for more lube).

Spank It Like It’s 1974

Fans of classic Playboy playmates like Jayne Mansfield, Jean Bell, Dorothy Stratten, Madeleine & Mary Collinson, Jenny McCarthy, and Pam Anderson who don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on Ebay can rejoice.

Nothing has been this free since the Whole Earth Catalog.
