Review

David Basner was raised by two loving parents in the 80s comedy flick Nothing in Common (1986). When he grows up he’s very successful, both financially and with the ladies. But then one day he learns that his parents are separating, and now he has to deal with his parents’ two different takes on the split. His father, in addition to losing his wife, also just lost his job, and David can’t seem to get an honest statement out of him. His mother, on the other hand, is relishing in her new independence. All of this makes David lose his cool, and his status. Although there’s not a hint of nudity throughout the whole movie, there are a few scenes where we see Sela Ward putting on some clothes, and generally looking tantalizing, which gives Tom Hanks and the viewers something to gawk at. Something tells me he has a Hank-ering for more nudity!
