Harold and Maude (1971), What’s Up, Doc? (1972), So I Married An Axe Murderer (1993), The Wedding Planner (2001), Just Like Heaven (2005), The Five-Year Engagement (2012), and Always Be My Maybe (2019) prove that romantic comedies and San Francisco make the perfect match. Of course, we can’t forget to include Nina Takes a Lover (1994). Shot in the Bay Area, the R rated romp begins when a San Francisco Chronicle journalist (Michael O'Keefe) is interviewing a married woman named Nina (Laura San Giacomo) for a story on infidelity. She confesses how she was starved for romance and, through the magic of flashbacks, reveals how she met a British photographer (Paul Rhys) looking for action even though he’s married too. Throughout the course of the movie, we get to watch them rendezvous. That means Ms. San Giacomo shows off her San Ginormous cleavage via a host of low-cut tops. The curvaceous babe dons everything from barely-there lingerie to a skintight leotard. In between, the busty brunette can be seen in a black brassiere that’s just waiting to burst! As the story concludes, we learn that Nina and the photographer are actually married to one another. They just pretended to cheat to put some spice into their marriage. If that’s not hot enough, Nina’s best friend (Cristi Conaway) is also having a secret affair with a coffee shop manager (Fisher Stevens). As such, Cristi puts whipped cream on her bra-clad chest. Apparently, the coffee worker provides the stimulation and she provides the rest!
