That first flash occurred in Les Mots pour le dire (1983), where she played Marie Saint-Jean, when she was 37-years old. At that point, Nicole had already been acting for 17 years, had won a César (like an Oscar) for Best Supporting Actress for her part in the film Le Cavaleur (1979), and been nominated for Best Actress for Mon oncle d’Amérique. She grabbed another Best Actress nom for her part as Julia Tombsthay in Péril en la demeure (1985), aka Peril, where she’s fully naked, revealing palm-sized breasts, long shots of her kitty, and the ability to bend backwards while having sex in a chair. Sticking with the César nominations, Nicole received a total of twelve—and not only for acting.
