With a name like N'Bushe Wright you'd think she'd have some skin on her résumé, but the N must stand for "no", because so far in her career she's given us no bush. Originally trained as a dancer, N'Bushe certainly has a body ripe for exposure. The black beauty from Brooklyn studied a the prestigious "Stella Adler Studio of Acting" before making her film debut in the interracial romance drama Zebrahead (1992). The head turner (who won't take off ze bra) next headed to the small screen in NBC's Civil Rights era drama I'll Fly Away, before staying in the same time period to play a Black Panther in Dead Presidents (1995). But N'Bush may be best known for her role as hematologist Dr. Karen Jenson in Blade (1998). Although she was basically dismissed without a mention in the sequels, the fine piece of A has gained much more respect over the years, for being not only one of the first POCs in the MCU, but a positive portrayal of a woman thriving in a STEM field. You won't be qble to stem the tide of sexuality seeing her sit-ups, wearing nothing but white underwear in the female prison drama Civil Brand (2002). While it's disappointing we never get the token group shower scene the genre so often affords us, hearing her loud coregasms and seeing her sweaty sandbags is well worth your time. All that exercise paid off in her next role where she gets paid to show off. Yes, N'Bushe works the pole in a thong as a stripper that never quite takes it all off in the miniseries Widows (2002). Comedy fans will likely remember her for appearing in Dave Chappelle's fast food employment commercial parody, the "Wacarnold's" sketch on Chappelle's Show but N'Bushe actually took a long hiatus from acting in the mid to late 2000's, leaving the biz in 2006 only to return to play Marissa Montex in A Talent For Trouble (2018) twelve years later. We need her to do some nudity, though. It's not alright we haven't seen all of N'Bushe Wright!
