Translated as “Mother, I Do Not Wanna Die!”, Mutter, ich will nicht sterben! (1994) follows Ella (Muriel Baumeister), a sweet chick that learns she has leukemia days before her wedding. When Ella prods her mother to be a bone marrow donor, the ailing babe abruptly learns that she was adopted, setting her on a race against time to locate her biological parents and get some bone marrow to save her life.
