MTV Unplugged

The greatest musical artists in the world, performing for a live audience in a totally acoustic setting – pure genius. When MTV created the Unplugged series, one of the first recordings of the show – Nirvana Unplugged – not only rated through the roof but also spawned a multi-million selling album when lead singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide. Since then, nearly every top-selling band in the USA has either been on the show or tried to be on it. Utmost in our minds has always been Fiona Apple, who (after peeling it all off down to her undies in her Criminal music video) looked so good in a tight black camisole that many at Skin called in sick next day.
