Of course creaky old CBS was the last of the "big three" boob tube networks to announce their fall schedule- save for its Monday night comedies, CBS has been skewing towards the gray-haired set since Angela Landsbury was solving murders on Cabot Cove. But the formula has been working well for the network, which isn't making any huge changes, save for slowly phasing out its CSI franchise.
First the good news- we'll be ogling Cobie Smulders and Alyson Hannigan on How I Met Your Mother well into 2012, and the parade of Charlie Sheen- er, Ashton Kutcher's- conquests on Two and a Half Men will continue unabated. Plus, it's still bikini season on Hawaii 5-0- the series was picked up for another season. Far chillier are the prospects for Shit My Dad Says and The Defenders, which were both canceled.
Let's check out some of the nude stars of CBS' new fall lineup:
Thor hottie Kat Dennings and her mighty chest hammers will be taking a walk on the sitcom side when she costars with Beth Behrs in 2 Broke Girls, Mondays at 8:30/ 7:30 central. Kat and Beth play a pair of waitresses working at a hip Brooklyn diner as they save up for their own cupcake business. The primetime show certainly won't break either girls' non-nude streak, but Skin Central's looking forward to those low-cut uniforms. We'll have that cherry pie la mode, Kat- two scoops of vanilla, please.
On the serious side, Jennifer Ehle is returning to the American boob tube after years in jolly old England when she plays a sexy apparition haunting her widower husband in A Gifted Man. Adorable Julie Benz co-stars in the "spiritual medical drama". Jennifer's full frontal nudity in The Camomile Lawn (1992) haunts Skin Central to this day.
Person of Interest stars Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson as an ex-CIA agent and eccentric billionaire who team up to fight crime, but the real person of interest in this series for Skin Central is tasty chocolate drop Taraji P. Henson as the homicide detective who's onto our heroes' game. Fuel your good cop/bad cop fantasies with Taraji's mind-boggling bang scene in Baby Boy (2001).
We'll have to wait until mid-season to see Leelee Sobieski get tough as Jennifer "White House" Perry, "a former college volleyball star and Marine MP in Iraq with a take-charge attitude" on The 2-2, but the wait will be worth it for fans of the sexy star. In the meantime, you can see Leelee spike it over the nudity net in L'Idole (2002).
