There are YouTube movie reviews, and then there's Unboxed, Watched and Reviewed. The brainchild of an Iowa man who goes by the nom de internetObulious Toobach, Unboxed, Watched and Reviewed specializes in the sickest, filthiest, most twisted movies ever made, from outrageous Euro-porns La Bete/The Beast (1975) and The Sinful Dwarf (1973) to the notorious "torture-porn"s The Bunny Game (2010) and The Life and Death of a Porno Gang (2009).

And the reviews are as unique and outrageous as the movies themselves as Obulious documents his (often quite visceral) reactions to the movies as he's watching them, interjecting with hilarious commentary recorded in what looks like a suburban basement. But don't let the surroundings fool you. When you watchUnboxed, Watched and Reviewedyou'll hear and see things that you can never unhear or unsee (not that you'd want to, right?). One of our favorites here at Skin Central ishis gift for, uh, creative descriptions of female anatomy, like "pussy wedgie" (coined in the review for the Japanese fetish flick Rubber's Lover) and his declaration that They All Must Die features "the biggest pussy hole I've ever seen". What's not to love?

unboxed 1SKIN CENTRAL: Ok, the one question we always ask is: Do you remember the first nude scene you ever saw? What was it?

OBULIOUS TOOBACH: I think the first nude scenes I saw were in Bachelor Party (1984). I know when I turned 4 I tried to emulate the strip dance that the mule-fucking lady does at my birthday party by stripping off my clothes and shaking my butt like she does [in the movie]. I can remember my sister screaming down to my mom "Tanner's getting naked!" which immediately brought my version of "the arts" to an end.

SC: So one of the things I like about your reviews are your reactions to the movie as you watch it. How do you put the videos together?

OT: Thank you. It's kind of a pain because after I watch the movie I have to then re-watch it, only this time it's not watching the movie, it's watching me watch the movie. So I just go through that, and keep in what I think will work, and help tell the story, and get rid of what won't. Then I [mix in] the review and "unboxing" scenes [an essential part of every episode where he records himself opening the package- SC] where I see fit. Trying to condense the movie watching experience down to 15 minutes can be very challenging!

SC: Have you always been into "extreme" movies?unboxed 2

OT: I've always liked perverted stuff! I loved the HBO Real Sex series as a kid, and Hardcore TV, another HBO show that I'm sure you know! I'd stay up late to watch the movies on Showtime that had "SSC" (strong sexual content) in them according to the TV Guide. Movies like Perfect Timing (1986) Love Camp (1977), One Night Only (1986)...And I loved my sex comedies as well-- The Sex o' Clock News (1985), Amazon Women on the Moon (1987), The Groove Tube (1974)...anything with nudity and sex humor I LOVED growing up. Same with weird. If something was weird or strange...I don't know why, but I would find it genuinely funny.

SC: We have a category on Mr. Skin that we call "skingoria", which are basically scenes that combine nudity and gore. Do you think that its any more fucked up to watch these scenes out of context?

OT: Oh yes, it sure can be. Take the movie The Isle (2000) for instance. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the "shocking" scene in that movie, which a lot of shock seekers don't have the patience for.But to be blindsided by the scene in a montage could be very effective and leave the viewer with a great "WTF?" feeling. The Isle is fucking wonderful! The scene I'm referring to is one in which our hero, "the Korean Laura Gemser" as I call her, shoves a handful of fishhooks up her pussy. Great movie!

SC: Can you recommend some movies that will freak out even the most jaded lover of "extreme" unboxed 3cinema?

OT: Sweet Movie (1974) really freaked me out, mostly because of the scene with the kids in the boat and the slut, who was kicked out of her country for that scene. The close proximity between that little boy's face and her actual pussy really made me feel uncomfortable... and then when she starts unzipping the other kids fly! It's too much, and it just feels so wrong! And if that's not enough, there is also a LOT of pissing, puking and shitting in that movie, all real.

Another good one is Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975). That is a must see for fans of the fucked up! Lots of nudity, shit eating, cross dressing, disgusting and descriptive stories gleefully told by old women, face pissing, and sexual torture. The Vomit Gore trilogy is also a lot of fun! Very weird and gross. "The castration movie" featured in The First Transmission kinda....bothered me a bit. And lastly I'll say Philosophy of a Knife (2008) for those who love seeing pussies getting inserted by cock(roaches)!

SC: What movie reviews do you have coming up?
unboxed 4
OT: I just started working on a review for a Japanese movie called Rafureshia (1995). Very fucked up and very perverted. It reminds me of an older version of Visitor Q (2001). I'm [also] waiting for the films of Otto Muehl to arrive-- he's the leader of the pukers and poopers at the end of Sweet Movie. They have some old films out there that are pretty obscure and very sick!

SC: Can we read/see your reviews anywhere else online?

OT: A few of my reviews can be seen on [the website] Horror Happy Hour.
