Biography

Melody Thomas Scott's acting career started about as well as one's could, with her first film credit as “young Marnie” in the Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece Marnie (1964). After Alfred, she went on to work with John Wayne in The Shootist (1976) while appearing on shows like Wagon Train and Ironside. She was very sexy as Ben's wholesome girlfriend Darlene Jarvis on The Walton's, so much so that she got our John Boy thinking very adult, male thoughts. But she got Mr. Skin’s attention looking fantastic in a yellow bikini in the Kirk Douglas horror flick The Fury (1978). It's a thriller about a telekinetic kid, who selfishly doesn't use his mind powers to pop off Melody's top. We would’ve love to have seen her furry, but we could never be so lucky! Melody starred in the creature feature classic Piranha (1978) before landing the role she will forever be best known for, considering she played it for over four decades: Nikki Newman on The Young and the Restless. While she still showed up in the occasional episode of huge shows like The Nanny, The King of Queens and Castle, Melody's work on the long running CBS melodrama always took center stage. Nikki Newman started out as a stripper who murdered her abusive father, weaved her way through prostitution rings and a gig in publishing, but moved on to becoming the wife of a hugely successful businessman and a grandmother to a huge brood of attractive kids. Melody released a book all about her acting career, including growing up with her hoarder grandmother and some atrocious acts she had to deal with in Hollywood. Forty years on the same show is a huge accomplishment, we just wish Melody had given us a nude scene along the way. Even decades later, she still has the best tits on The Young and the Restless.
