“And then came Maude!” proclaimed the theme song to Maude, an All in the Family spin-off that showcased the Sasquatch-sized comedic talents of funnylady Bea Arthur in the fire-breathingly feisty title role. Bill Macy played Maude’s beleaguered husband, and their best friends were neighbors Conrad Bain and future co-Golden-Girl Rue McClanahan. Of course, mountainous eye candy came in the form of Adrienne Barbeau, who erupted bra-free into stardom as Maude’s daughter. Whenever Adrienne appeared, then came everybody.
