Yes, this is a sci-fi series. Yes, it also stars Carrie-Anne Moss. Nevertheless the Canadian TV show Matrix doesn’t have anything to do with the American blockbuster directed by the Wachowski Brothers. It was shot six years before the movie, and, despite winning the Special Award at the Columbus International Film & Video Festival, only lived to see its initial thirteen episodes before being cancelled. The story centered on underworld hit man Steven Matrix (Nick Mancuso) who, after being shot in the forehead, awakens in “The City in Between.” There he is confronted with the faces of all the people that he killed throughout his career. However, Matrix is given a second chance. He can escape hell by helping other people out of trouble! Nudity Report: Nope--nada! Luckily Carrie-Anne Moss already showed-off her robo-hooters in the 1994 thriller The Soft Kill. The flick itself may not be that great, but Carrie-Anne makes it worthwhile!
